Black Men, Rites of Passage, and Life in Alaska: A Conversation with Dr Cal Williams
In this episode, I sat down with Dr Cal Williams, a longtime Anchorage, Alaska resident, historian, civil rights activist, and a leader in the Black community. Dr Cal Williams was born on November 30, 1941 in Monroe, Louisiana; served in Vietnam in the United States Air Force during the early 1960s; participated in the historic March on Washington, and an affiliate of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
